ABOUT
The botanical identity of the classical Ayurveda plant Brahmi is co-related with different species. The major confusion is whether to accept Brahmi and Mandukparni as one plant or as differnt entities. Raaj-Nighantu accepts Brahmi and Mandukaparni as synonyms. Interestingly Charak and Sushrut have described both the plants as different entities.
