Kajjali
PREPARATION
Shudh(purified) Parad and Shudh Gandhak taken in equal proportion are throughly blended in a flat surfaced stone vesel. The mixture is grinded till it turns black and gives a smooth appearance. This mixture is known as Kajjali.Kajjali - Ingredient Details
NOTE
- Kajjali forms the basis of many Rasaushadhi (Herbo-Minero-metal formulations). Hence its preparation is discussed in each and every available treatise.
- Kajjali blended or processed with different herbs is used as medicine for various disorders. Treatise like Yogratnakar, Yogtarangini etc. have described theses properties of Kajjali by blending it with plants like Amalaki (Phyllanthus emblica) etc.
